As part of “The Giving Back Project by People from Overseas,” we have been connecting with local residents through casual basketball games at the park, alongside the neighborhood cleanup activities we shared last month.

By reaching out to fellow young people who visit the court to play, we have brought people from overseas and Japanese locals together for pickup games. Sharing the court has been a wonderful way to build friendships and bridge language barriers.

Moving forward, we hope to foster greater mutual understanding right here in our everyday spaces while continuing to explore meaningful ways people from overseas can give back to the community.
