Muslim and Foreigners Consultation and Support (hereinafter referred to as “MUFCAS” or “the Service”) prioritizes protecting users’ privacy. The personal information obtained by the Service will be used within the scope of the purposes disclosed at the time of acquisition, primarily for the following specific purposes, in alignment with the Service’s activities toward creating a world free of terrorism and conflict:

  • To respond to inquiries or consultations.
  • To improve the Service’s website.
  • To facilitate communication with supporters and collaborators when necessary.

Prohibition of Disclosure or Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Service handles personal information appropriately and strives for secure management. Personal information will not be disclosed to third parties, except in the following cases:

  • With the user’s consent.
  • When required by law.
  • When outsourcing handling of personal information to external contractors under confidentiality agreements, within the scope necessary to achieve the stated purpose of use.
  • When necessary to protect human life, health, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the user’s consent.
  • When particularly necessary for public health improvement or the sound upbringing of children, and it is difficult to obtain the user’s consent.
  • When cooperating with national or local government officials in executing duties as prescribed by law, and obtaining the user’s consent would hinder the execution of these duties.

Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information
Upon request from the individual, the Service will promptly disclose personal information, provided the individual’s identity can be confirmed. If the personal information held by the Service is found to be incorrect, obtained or handled in violation of this Policy, no longer necessary, subject to a significant data breach, or deemed to harm the individual’s rights or legitimate interests, the Service will promptly correct or delete the information upon request.
